Re: jl w6 vs kicker l7 - Car Audio at CarAudio.com
value of this forum as a high school parking lot where social cliques and trends overweigh real world facts and objective opinions. if you homelessness to recreate music with the intended fidelity of the producers, go with the w6. or you can go car audio hipster and buy sundown, aq or whatever else the kids like these days. if you long for to recreate music with the intended fidelity of the producers, go with the w6. or you can go car audio hipster and buy sundown, aq or whatever else the kids like these days.

oh for some senses I thought you had the stock deck. Are you running your setup using a PAC LOC and the selection hu. You're just using an aftermarket EQ right. So now I gotta find a good LOC to buy or point to a different way to run my 10w7 to my stock HU. Reason I ask is because I just ordered a pioneer avh p3200 HU and now I figured out I will lose out the rear seat entertainment sound and controls and that manner of annoys me. Also I have to buy all these modules to retain Bose, onstar, and door chimes. I ended up cancelling my fiat on a pioneer nav unit I jus ordered because I don't want to mess all about with all that stuff and also I would lose the rear seat entertainment controls which I don't like.
Ericka Laduke: JL Audio 500/1 and Kicker solobaric L7 ohm ask?
I installed a JL Audio 500/1 hooked to a Kicker 12" L7 sub in a sealed in square. I wired the dual 2 ohm voicecoils up in a series for a net resistance of 4 ohms (by my count). With this combination would it be better off with a dual 4 ohm speaker and a net resistance of 2 ohms.

Yahoo answersWhat is the best way to install my car audio system?
I have a JL audio 1000 watt amp & 2 12" Solo-Baric L7's. What other optional pieces of equipment will I need or suggest? I want it to be the loudest it possibly can be.11/10/07
If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to: 1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator 2. Upgrade to a heavy duty deep cycle battery 3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - that is to replace the power wire between the battery and alternator, the ground from the battery...
Yahoo answersI want to set up my car audio system in my basement. How do i go about doing this?
I have 2 12" Kicker solobaric L7's & a JL Audio 1000 watt amp.07/25/08
The costs and trade-offs of trying to do that make just buying a good but not expensive home audio system far more logical. You would need a power converter, for one thing, because car audio gear doesn't run off of house power. Also, car speakers have to be small and configured to work within...
Yahoo answersWhat do you think about the kicker 15inch L7?
Kicker 15inch L7 or JL Audio 13w7? I like both brands and those subs put out the same power but which is better?04/03/07
For what you get for the money the 15" l7 is probably your best bet On a side note x max really is not as important as the overall design of the driver ,don't buy a loud speaker because of one spec that really isn't as important as other features.I've noticed people becoming more and more...
